Intelligent Fault Detection

• Permanent Fault: If a trip occurs again within 700ms of reclosing, the device identifies it as a permanent fault and enters a secure lockout state for manual inspection.

Customizable Reclosing Strategies
The MT56AS module features four flexible reclosing programs that can be customized via RS485 Modbus to suit various operational needs:
• Short-1 (Program 0): A single reclosing attempt after a 10-second delay.
• Short-3 (Program 1 - Default): Three attempts scheduled at 10s, 1 min, and 3 min.
• Long-Fixed (Program 2): Five total attempts, starting with 10s and 1 min, followed by three 3-minute intervals.
• Progressive (Program 3): Five attempts with increasing delays of 10s, 1 min, 3 min, 4 min, and 5 min.
Three Operation Modes to Guarantee Safety
• AUTO mode: Performs automatic fault reclosing and supports full remote control.
• MANU mode: Disables the auto-reset function but allows for manual or communication-based operation.
• LOCK mode: For local maintenance, provides a physical mechanical lockout that supports a 4mm padlock, ensuring safety through electronic and mechanical interlocking.
